Nowadays, nearly 50 percent to 75 percent women will get stuck in postnatal depressions after baby delivery. That is a really high incidence. Besides hormonal changes and suddenly role change of themselves, an important factor that lead to postnatal depressions is lacking support and understanding from their most intimate husband. Just relying on medical treatment isn’t enough. Improving husbands’ empathy and making them understand the situation of their wife is an effective way to moderate the postnatal depression.

To tackle this problem, I designed New Daddy’s Adventure. New Daddy’s Adventure is a role-playing game with multiple task modes that could arouse new dads to be inclusive and thoughtful toward their wives, and to understand not only women should take responsibility for children care.
